Totally. I haven't seen the original, so I can't compare, but someone should tell the people behind this film that the main character of a romantic comedy can't be an unlikeable and annoying woman, and that the romantic storyline has to start before the first hour is up. The likeable Aaron Eckhart saves what he can, but unfortunately it's not enough. ()

anglais I'm a sucker for movies with cooking. Here, they cooked until you could smell it at home and then there was the ahem...the looove. The relationship between Catherine and Aaron was more than nice enough and of course little Abigail once again did not disappoint. For me, easily watchable and lovable, in some places really great. I'm going against the low ratings here and giving 5 stars, even if they aren't quite as pure. ()

anglais I’m not saying I didn't like the film, I was just disappointed by how quickly the filmmakers gave up on their effort and went for a typical predictable line. I normally hate child actors in film, but with Abigail Breslin, I make an exception. She was great here just like in Definitely, Maybe, and Little Miss Sunshine. Her acting was the best of the central trio here, but she also has this quality of not being annoying, at least not to me. The film itself was average. It was neither terrible nor great, sort of average. It will do if you are looking for something to watch while ironing or dusting. ()

anglais At first glance, it's quite an ordinary romance, but on second thought, I can't help but be intrigued by how something from the kitchen, cooking, or gourmet environment is involved. Furthermore, the central duo (Zeta-Jones and Eckhart) seem like an unsuitable couple at first, but their chemistry ends up working and quite well, actually. The fact that the film has a clear structure is simply given. ()
