A quite entertaining film that is technically a western, but rather a less-than-an-hour game about who will end up with whom. John Wayne is here as a supervisor and a whisperer, who ultimately ensures that everything happens as the heart desires. He is the main character, but he has a slightly different role than we are accustomed to. It suits him well.
