1989 in Budapest. A gang of teenagers is roaming about in the city. They are hanging around, longing away from here, their parents do not care about them. They sustain themselves by breaking up cars and by minor robberies. Transylvanian relatives, refugees, arrive at Zoltáns familys home. The boys accept Rita, who is their age, into their gang. Everybody is touched by the girls purity and beauty and they all fall in love and become jealous. In order to prove their toughness, they help Miki, Attilas arrested brother, escape from the court. Although in the meantime even Attila is arrested, he manages to escape, too. Hearing the news of the fall of Ceausescus regime, Rita and her family prepare to return home.
