A grandmother, her grandson and the 6,813 kilometres that keep them apart... video-calls before the Skype era. In this touching video-experiment, Suchý initiates an exchange of video letters between Bratislava, Slova- kia and Syracuse NY, USA, in which his mother acts out a charmingly crazy fairy-tale about her trip across the ocean to visit her grandson. Her reward is pictures of two-year-old Myko who phonetically repeats greetings in Slovak after his father. (IFF Bratislava)
