Max Vandeveer, patron gargantuesque d'un célèbre magazine gastronomique, fait et défait la réputation des chefs du monde entier tout en satisfaisant son insatiable appétit de gourmet. Pour s'assurer les bonnes grâces de la reine d'Angleterre, il organise un repas d'exception cuisiné par le chef Louis Kohner, avec un dessert réalisé par la surdouée de la pâtisserie, Natasha O'Brien. Après avoir été complimentés par la Reine, les deux chefs passent la nuit ensemble. Au petit matin, Natasha découvre le corps calciné de Kohner dans le four de ce dernier. Les soupçons se portent alors sur Robby Ross, son ex-mari et fondateur d'un empire de fast-food... (Carlotta Films)
