The Great Sacrifice

Albrecht, the restless son of a patrician family, marries the stern but beautiful Octavia, hoping to find peace and love at her side. One day he makes the acquaintance of his neighbor, the young Aels. Her vivacious, charming nature and her fascinating beauty attract him tremendously. She falls for him just like he falls for her, not knowing the shadow of death is already hovering upon Aels. Meanwhile, Octavia silently endures a marriage which is no more.
