During his lifetime, Cole Porter was treated to a wonderful Technicolor revue based on his own life. Hollywood supplied the fairy tale, Porter the over-the-top music. Those who want something more realistic should see the film De-Lovely. Because this is only perfect, not true. But the experience is worth it. It's also a film in which I'd like to see Jane Wyman, who Hitch soon utterly destroyed.
