In Luxoria Prince Igor is preparing to accede to the throne and choose his wife on his 24th birthday. The mother Duchess's candidate is Duchess Xenia, but Igor loves Annie, the soap-maker's daughter. The barber, master Kajetán, a determined foe of the soap-maker's also sets his eye on Annie. But Kajetán is most jealous of Master Bob, the wandering singer, who also courts her. Xénia is fighting for Igor and as Bellonia's spy would like to discover the secret of the Ivory Box. Her schemes are exposed and the box's law, love triumphs: Bob, who is really Igor, can marry Annie. (texte officiel du distributeur)
