Anday Péter, a talented composer goes out of his way to become the winner of a competition of popular songs in order to become a successful man and to be able to marry his love, Erzsike. The Arts Council in Heaven appears responsive to his prayers, and sends the composer a muse, in charge of light music, to support him. The reckless little muse soon finds herself confronted by Holló, a woman singer who proves to be her muse competitor, while Anday provokes the anger of Demeter, one of his colleagues. Following a series of complications Anday is eventually awarded the main prize, and with it, Erzsike's hand. Her mission accomplished, the muse can return to her superior in Heaven, where she can go on with the game of cards she had to interrupt because of her mission. (texte officiel du distributeur)
