Using ordinary objects to make extraordinary sounds, Stomp is a unique combination of percussion, movement, and visual comedy. After breaking box office records around the world and four years of sell-out performances off-Broadway, the show's creators have finally brought the energy and excitement of this rhythmic spectacular to home video, filmed live in New York City. anglais "Noise with rhythm." I used to tell myself that when I tapped my desk at school sometimes out of nervousness or boredom, there was something to do with it. STOMP however, has perfected this. The "music" goes hand in hand with the masterful choreography, without which their music may be only half as effective, but it also acquires a completely different nature. Proof of this is the end credits, when we can only imagine what piece picked up on the street they are currently "playing." This documentary also delights with excellent camera work, providing a close look at the musicians almost to the point of intimacy. Along with perfect editing and outstanding sound, it delivers a unique audiovisual experience, which might be a bit harsh on the ears, but the impression of "something different" lingers long after.
