anglais In it’s time, an undoubtedly ground-breaking comedy thanks to a completely new style of parody and the previously forbidden vulgar humour, now it’s just a rather cringe piece of crap mocking basic western motifs and obviously referring to racial issues. The comic situations "unfortunately" take on unprecedented proportions, with absolutely brilliant (chess, ku-klux-klan), hilarious (beans), embarrassing and downright pathetic (I suffered quite a bit for the first 20 minutes) jokes standing side by side. Those 3 stars are very reluctant, I definitely expected more from Mel Brooks. 50% ()

anglais Mel Brooks is simply a legend and at times he managed to create such great movies with such great scenes on screen that they rightly became part of the history of world cinema, not just comedy. "Blazing Saddles" is one such film and I'm glad that I finally got to see it. The politically incorrect humor is fantastic. ()
