Everyone in Shibamata is worried about Tora-san after the massive Kobe earthquake, but they spot him on TV working as a volunteer. Meanwhile, after learning that Izumi plans to get married, Mitsuo disrupts her wedding and flees to Amami Oshima, where he meets Lily (Ruriko Asaoka), who's staying in a house with Tora-san. Izumi shows up and finally Mitsuo confesses his love to her. (Shochiku)
