A young L.A. doctor who's going places. A bitter street kid going nowhere. They're worlds apart but their destinies collide in director Michael Cimino's compelling road odyssey The Sunchaser. Woody Harrelson plays Michael Reynolds, a wealthy doctor. But Michael's fast-track life detours when a desperately ill patient (Jon Seda of Dear God and 12 Monkeys) kidnaps him at gunpoint. Across highways and backroads, kidnapper and hostage seek a legendary Navajo healing place while a manhunt closes in on them. (texte officiel du distributeur)

anglais The Sunchaser is the only film to get into movie theaters starring Alexandra Tydings, who is otherwise exclusively a TV actress. Alexandra plays Woody Harrelson's wife, she's charming and very emotional, but what's the point when The Sunchaser is a buddy/road movie. The road to redemption isn't easy, and when it all takes place on the endless plains of Arizona, there's plenty to keep you entertained. Still, I don't feel like this is one of Woody's better films.
