anglais I felt like watching a decent mystery thriller that was basically butchered by the director. Starting with a shaky camera and ending with the director’s dictations proving that despite the movie’s mystery core, Anthony Hopkins’s clairvoyant abilities are strange. Touching a person and seeing his future or past is one thing but touching a strand of grass and seeing a whole scene from a few days ago is a little over the top. And that is coming from a person who usually enjoys this genre. ()

anglais Amazing work and one of the best crime dramas I've ever seen. Anthony Hopkins rips the film apart, he is literally in Hannibal mode here and his dialogue thrills, scares, shocks and surprises the viewer. Colin Farrell as the main bad guy doesn't appear until an hour into the film, but the conversations between him and Hopkins are decently paced and gave me chills like I haven't had in a long time. I also liked the decent cinematography, the attention to detail and the exquisite visuals, especially in the visions, they were delicious. For me the surprise of the year right from the turn of the year. The Hopkins/Farrel duel was indeed a success and I have never seen such cleverly written dialogue. I'm tempted to repeat the film after watching it, a five-star rating is in order. 85% ()

anglais Huge potential and a fantastic cast. An original idea, but a deficient screenplay. The director is evidently cheap, his would-be modern approaches don’t suit the gloomy and mysterious nature of the story. If only someone like Fincher or Fukunaga had got their hands on this. Even so, it’s quite a pleasant watch and Hopkins is excellent as always. ()

anglais It's quite nice, quite well thought out, as expected, because when you have such a plethora of actors there, and there are really plenty of them, you just can't come up with a stupid movie. However, two actors do stand out so much that they captivate you more than the story itself, which plays a bit with the audience. Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell prove their abilities. ()
