Juliet and Romeo

Juliette and Romeo is a grotesque variation on the famous balcony scene from Shakespeare drama. Romeo has to do his best just to get his indifferent Juliette to open the shutters and to give him a brief glance. The film combines Smetana’s stylized drawing with other methods – e.g. collage and silhouette. (Anifilm)
