In her personal and playful graduation project filmed at the Luca School of Arts in Brussels, Ukrainian director Elina Pupina sets out to find her roots. At times literally. The film’s heroine is overgrown with living sprouts and, with the help of strange creatures alluding to folk tradition, she searches for the cornerstones of her identity. (Anifilm)
