Brown of Harvard

It is true that I haven't seen a silent film for quite a long time. And I watched this one only because it was John Wayne's first appearance on screen. No, don't expect him to have a main role. Actually, he is hardly in the film at all. You won't even find him in the credits. On the other hand, I'm glad because otherwise I wouldn't have come across films that don't mean anything to me by their title. "Brown of Harvard" is a film that has quite dramatic situations, romantic situations, and let's be honest, thanks to being a silent film, there are also some unintentionally comedic situations. Nevertheless, if you enjoy silent films, this one is not bad. For me, these films have charm. (25/10/2013)
