Alois Musil is one of the most prominent discoverers of archaeological treasures of the Muslim world. Director and graphic artist Jan Cechl uses prints of Musil’s travelogues to create traditional and half-embossed puppets and sends them on adventures to a fairy-tale Orient filled with fire genies and Bedouin wisdom.
