Hind is a young karate athlete. One day, after she is subjected to abusive behaviour at her training centre, the world of the hard of hearing girl becomes distorted. Determined, Hind looks for a way to reclaim her power. Inspired by a true story, Sukoun sensitively reveals what happens when a supposedly safe space is shattered. Experienced through the eyes and ears of the protagonist, the film moves between pain and tenderness, silence and noise, the hidden and the obvious. (Berlinale)
