The Asturian Valentín Vega is considered one of the most important photographers of the last century. He knew better than anyone how to portray all the essential elements of everyday life while at the same time exercising a devastating display of social criticism. After spending three years in prison for his political affiliation and establishing himself as a street photographer, he continued to offer an extraordinary image of reality and everyday life from the 1940s onwards, so as not to lose sight of that period.
