The acting in this film is excellent. Jessica Lange and Tommy Lee Jones aren't that great together, but that's the strength of their relationship. And also the story, which I feel loses a lot of what it wants to say - the nuclear weapons ultimately seem to me to be a subplot rather than the main theme, which is actually a shame.
