On September 19, 2021, 50 years after the last eruption, a new volcano emerged on the island of La Palma. During the months that the eruption lasted, a group of childhood friends shared audio messages on a WhatsApp chat where they wrote a daily chronicle of astonishment and tragedy, far from the media narrative. The film draws a collective portrait of the friendship and strength of the inhabitants of a land which from time to time are exposed to the hypnotic and devastating power of nature.
