The Doe

After a lovers’ quarrel, the woman runs away from her man and finds herself in a gamekeeper’s lodge, situated in the middle of snowy forest, where an untraditional party is held. The man soon finds her and both frustration and tension between them escalate. The couple doesn’t fit in with the animalistic vibe of the lodge, not with their cold, urban appearance. The lodge might seem warm, but simultaneously somewhat obscure. The woman agrees to the party rules, which dictate a blend of both human and animalistic base impulses. She engages her partner in a game that’s going to test the limits of their relationship. (FamuFest)
