A medium-length picture about the famous children hero - little Mole. He falls asleep and dreams that all oil reserves have been spent and the world is going back to the primitive community. He wakes up and finds out, with great relief, that it was all just a nightmare. However, the warning against spending all energy reserves remains in the back of his head. anglais I watched this again, years later, with my daughter and I’m shocked by its chilling authenticity. This dystopic sci-fi from Miller seems like it takes place in post-Brexit Britain. There’s a gas shortage and Alexa has gone round the bend. An energy crisis and a hard winter wipes out the whole population and the only person to survive owes his life to Mole. The punchline and Mole’s laughter at the end are brutally chilling. ()
