Another day at the office for Jay means navigating his impulse to write rhymes/chase dreams, while working as a handyman maintaining a brand new luxury apartment building on his rapidly gentrifying Bed-Stuy block. That is until Isabella arrives. Navigating similar obstacles, she works as a cleaner to help support her family, shelving her passion as a painter in the interim.
