A superb picture. Both Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman showed their acting worth. And the untraditional direction squeezes everything it can from this mostly conversational crime drama. In places, incredibly superb camerawork. An unexpected ending. Thumbs up. A great shame that this superb work was rather forgotten and I admit that until today I had no idea of the existence of Under Suspicion.
