Lajcsi's parents are divorced, and tomorrow mummy marries Állókígyó, whom Lajcsi cannot stand. Therefore Lajcsi has himself kidnapped by his friends. Besides the huge ransom, the blackmailers demand the immediate return of the father, the long-vehicle driver. Captain Portoroki entrusts the case to his favourite subordinate, Hecseki. The children have confidence in the ham-handed detective, and disclose the real state of affairs to him. Hecseki has the father return from Italy, and has Állókígyó, who managed to collect the ransom with great hardships and is now preparing for the wedding, leave the scene. At the wedding site, the members of the family unite in happiness. And Állókígyó has to satisfy himself with the love of Bodorka, his long-time admirer. (texte officiel du distributeur)
