Padre Mágocs, a priest wearing jeans, dedicates himself to the saving of drug-addicts. Szilvi, the singer of a popular band, has been a drug-addict for several years, and she has been deprived of her child by the authorities. Her love Tamás, the guitarist is an even graver case, moreover hunted by thugs. Supported by the church, Mágocs purchases a deteriorated ranch and settles down there with six of his protegées. They restore the ranch. They get up early, work, play, pray, rehearse for a theatre performance. Tamás smuggles drugs among them and the group falls apart. Having been duped by Tamás, the drug-dealers execute him on the night after the concert. On the next day Szilvi, in great panic, prepares for suicide. Mágocs stands by the the wall of the ranch, while Szilvi on the edge of the roof, at a long distance from each other, both thinking of God. (Mokép)
