The Last Tattoo

A more than interesting crime drama from the unique setting of post-war New Zealand. While Rod Steiger was traditionally good in a supporting role, the entire film was propelled forward from start to finish by the main character played by Kerry Fox. Of course, the story had some laughable and naive moments, but the aforementioned extremely likable, well-written and acted nurse overcame almost all of them. (05/12/2012)
