“The memoirs of a pimp and a convict” was how Spiegel described the infamous book “Minus Mann” by Heinz Sobota in 1978. This film is a dialogue between a female interviewer and the beast. Talking, asking questions, walking together along the river, eating, drinking, sitting in the café – a sadist and oppressor of women with a doe-eyed interrogator. A striking film about our fascination with bad guys and the boundaries between manipulation and documentation. (DOK.fest München)
