After winning a tour package in a game show, the bickering Griswald family carve a trail of destruction through England, France, Germany, and Italy. I can't help but think this family is so moronic and dysfunctional that I don't understand how they can even function. I know it's mostly fun, or should be mostly fun, but I find them so annoying that I can't even watch them anymore. Every now and then, a good joke really saves it, but the characters kill it for me too much.
