The Last Artifact

In order to function, human civilization needs systems that help organize and simplify our day-to-day actions. We divide the days into hours and minutes, and buy our food in grams. This document presents an event that has not attracted much public attention. In 2018, the metric system was extensively redefined. The reason for this was the decrease in weight of the prototype weight for one kilogram over a period of time. Even if the public misses the change in the definition of the metrics, the film encourages us to contemplate the constructs making up the foundations of our lives. (Academia Film Olomouc)
