Gamera vs. Guiron unfortunately proves that films in the Gamera series just aren't as good and that they failed to bring anything innovative to the table despite the decently designed monsters. The child characters just prove that the creators didn't really know where to go next, and so you're just waiting for something like Pokémon to appear. I'm curious if anything saved this series yet, because I'm not even halfway through.
