Daniella Pineda

Daniella Pineda was born in Oakland, California. She studied journalism and sociology at Mills College with the hopes of becoming a war correspondent, and she worked for a short time as a public radio reporter upon graduation. She then came to New York City in 2010 to pursue a writing career. In her first audition as a writer-host, she was discovered by a manager/producer and thus began her acting career.

Daniella has been making YouTube videos that have created media buzz on sites like the Huffington Post and Jezebel. She has worked with Ed Burns on numerous films, including Newlyweds and Doggy Bags. In 2012 she booked her first pilot, NBC's Midnight Sun. She has also starred in several College Humor videos, in addition to other credits for Comedy Central, TNT and MTV. She was in pre-production for a feature called, Cocaine Sleepover – a dark comedy horror she was writing, producing, and was also starring in.
