Biographie
Barkhad Abdirahman was born in Kenya of Somali roots. He moved to Minneapolis with his mother, father, sister, and three brothers when he was 12; his grandparents still live in Somalia. Since graduating high school last year, Abdirahman has worked as a manager in his family's daycare center; he hopes to attend college someday. He starred as youngest pirate in Captain Phillips for Paul Greengrass.
