Biographie
Lee Kwang-kuk (b. 1975, Seoul, South Korea) studied directing in Seoul and started out as an assistant to director Hong Sang-soo, working on Hong's Tale of Cinema (Geuk jang jeon, 2005), Woman on the Beach (Haebyeonui yeoin, 2006), Like You Know It All (Jal aljido mothamyeonseo, 2009) and Hahaha (2010). He debuted in 2011 with Romance Joe (Romaenseu Jo), which was shown at festivals in Busan and Rotterdam. A Matter of Interpretation (2014) is his second film.
