Biographie
Born in Ludwigsburg, Sudabeh Mortezai has Iranian roots. She grew up in Tehran and Vienna. She studied theatre in Vienna and later film at UCLA in Los Angeles. Mortezai has produced several short films and documentaries. In 2014, she released Macondo, her first full-length feature film. It was this film that earned her an invitation to the 64th Berlinale.
