Biographie

Dan Studney is the co-writer and Emmy Award-winning composer of the cult musical "Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical." Before being turned into a Showtime Original Picture, "Reefer Madness" was a Los Angeles stage show and swept the Ovation, Drama Critics Circle and Garland Awards. The musical then ran Off-Broadway and continues to play in cities around the world.

Studney's television credits include such series as "Weird Science," "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" and "Sabrina: The Animated Series," as well as the telefilms "Genius" and "'Twas the Night." Additionally, he has contributed to several issues of "The Simpsons" comic books. Studney's music is often featured in movies and television.
