John de Borman shot his first feature as cinematographer, "Murder Blues," in 1991. He went on to build a reputation through his work on films such as "Small Faces," which won the Edinburgh Film Festival Best British Movie award; "The Full Monty"; and "Hideous Kinky," for which he was recognized with an award for Best Technical/Artistic Achievement at the Evening Standard British Film Awards.
