Biographie

Alfonso Gómez-Rejón started out as a personal assistant to Martin Scorsese, Nora Ephron, Robert de Niro and Alejandro González Iñarritu and was second unit director on, among others, Babel (2006) and Argo (2012). His work as a director and executive co-producer on the third season of the American Horror Story series (2013) was acknowledged with two Emmy nominations. His first feature film, The Town that Dreaded Sundown, figured repeatedly on lists of the 10 best horror films of 2014. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl bagged the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award at Sundance 2015.
