Biographie
Born in Taipei, he began to perform as an actor when he was eight years old. Nominated for a Golden Horse Award for his work in Growing Up (1983), in 2002 he founded his own production company and did different projects for television. What on Earth Have I Done Wrong? (2008), his first film as a director, grabbed the NETPAC and FIPRESCI awards.
