Dean Cain, acteur, réalisateur, scénariste et producteur Américain ; joue pour la première fois, en 1976, dans le film Elmer. Après être apparu sur différents spots publicitaires (Mcdonald's, Coca Cola Light...), il apparait dans Dive (son deuxième long métrage). Il joue également dans diverses séries populaires comme "Grapevine", "Beverly Hills", "Loïs et Clark", où il interprète Superman ; ce dernier rôle le rendra célèbre.
