Pepe Diokno (1987) is a screenwriter, director and producer from the Philippines. He graduated from the University of the Philippines. His dramatic feature debut Clash (Engkwentro, 2009) had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival and won many awards. The director followed this with Above the Clouds (2014), thus continuing upon his promising start. He also contributes to the newspaper The Philippine STAR, where he is also the main editor of the Supreme section, focused on pop culture.
