Agnes Skonare Karlsson is a New York based filmmaker. After completing her Bachelor in Business at University of Bath and Uppsala University, Sweden, Agnes proceeded to work as a script – and producer’s assistant at Spark Film & TV and Kärnfilm. After writing and directing a few short films, Agnes was chosen to be a directing candidate at Columbia University’s MFA program. Now as a writer-director, her growing body of work lives in the world of realism, exploring social contrast and human behavior, often through a feminist lens.
