Anna Marie Duke dite Patty Duke, est une actrice américaine. Après une enfance malheureuse auprès d’un père alcoolique et une mère dépressive, elle est confiée à l’âge de huit ans aux managers, John et Ethel Ross. Après quelques spots publicitaires et de petits rôles, Patty Duke obtient son premier grand rôle à Broadway en 1959 dans The Miracle Worker.
