Stefano Cipani

Biographie

He graduated in History of Cinema and Criticism at the University of Bologna and was part of SPONK estudios, an art and cinema collective in Italy. There he worked in different roles and directed short films and music videos. He moved to Los Angeles after graduation. During this time he was at the New York Film Academy, worked at Universal Studios and directed the short films Napoleon's CharmWhile God is Watching Us and Symmetry (2014) and collaborated with figures such as Dante Ferretti, Ennio Morricone and Vittorio Sodano. After several television productions, he directed two other short films: Shine Bright: The Musical (2016) and the animation WW1 in Colors (2017). In 2017, he wrote and directed a musical for a micro theater in Miami called The Promotion. My brother chases dinosaurs won the European Film Award granted by young audiences.
