Born in Tehran in 1978, Massy Tadjedin is an Iranian-American filmmaker. She grew up in Orange County, California, and studied English literature at Harvard University. In 2002, she wrote and produced Leo, a drama directed by Mehdi Norowzian, featuring Joseph Fiennes, Elisabeth Shue and Justin Chambers.
