László Rajk

Kossuth-prize awarded architect, production designer and university professor. He is a is a practising leading architect designer and internationally well-known production designer of such directors as Béla Tarr, Ridley Scott, Costa Gavras, John Irwin, Ferenc Török and Szabolcs Hajdu. He was the production designer of the Cannes Grand Prix, the Golden Globe and the Oscar awarded film “Son of Saul” (director László Nemes Jeles) in 2016. He won the “Production Designer of the Year” Film Critics award in 2009 for the film “Man from London” directed by Béla Tarr. In 2016 he received the professional prize of the Art Directors' Guild for the design plan of Ridley Scott's film, “The Martian”.
