Biographie
Brooklyn-based filmmaker Rudy Valdez started his career as a camera operator on the series Brick City (2009-2011), and has worked as a cinematographer for directors and producers such as Sebastian Junger, Whoopi Goldberg, Geeta Gandbhir and Sam Pollard. Ten years in the making, his directorial debut The Sentence premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Best Documentary.
