Soudade Kaadan

Biographie

French-born Syrian film director. She studied Theater Criticism at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Syria and filmmaking at the Saint Joseph University (IESAV) in Lebanon. Her films have been screened at several national and international festivals and have received international awards. Her first feature film, The Day I lost My Shadow (2018), won the Lion of The Future award for Best Debut Film at the 2018 Venice Film Festival.
